The Word of God for Children is an opportunity during the 8:45 Sunday service for the kids ages 4-10 to hear the readings and sermon given at their level.
Children who attend the 8:45 service now come directly to church with their family. After gathering with the community, the children are called forward, blessed, and sent with a leader to hear the Word of God at their level. Once they arrive in Room 4, they hear the readings of the day adapted for children. They are led in a dialogue about what those readings might mean, and how Jesus is calling them to live out the message in their life.
