People who attend the 7:30 a.m. Sunday worship service appreciate the unique experience of early morning worship in an environment that is close-knit and intimate, yet open and welcoming as well. The service itself is a spoken, Rite II Holy Eucharist, preceded by a period for meditation and prayer that is enriched by the presence of harpist Judy Diaz.
The service itself takes place in the chapel, which is one of the most
beautiful places in the entire facility. The altar is backed by a
stained-glass window which faces the Memorial Garden, which brings
natural light into the worship space most of the day.
This icon of the Trinity, located along one side of the chapel, provides a unique and inviting focus for meditation and prayer.
